JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Front Desk/Cashier is responsible for accurately processing merchandise transactions, maintaining the Front Desk Area, and maintaining their assigned work locations while providing excellent customer service.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Front Desk/Cashier is responsible for accurately processing merchandise transactions, maintaining the Front Desk Area, and maintaining their assigned work locations while providing excellent customer service.
JOB SUMMARY:
- Accurately operate a register/POS and handle cash and credit card transactions.
- Greet and assist customers while anticipating their needs.
- Adheres to cash handling policies and procedures.
- Learn, understand, and be knowledgeable of the merchandise for sale to assist customers and accurately process transactions. Great place to start for HVAC entry-level employees.
- Complete opening and closing procedures as assigned for the unit based on operating hours.
- Make sales calls if needed and speak with potential clients.
- Follow all safety policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as requested.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Previous Front Desk experience preferred.
- Previous cash handling experience preferred.
- Basic math & counting skills required.
- Must be able to work independently with limited supervision.
- Must speak Spanish/English
SUPERVISION RECEIVED AND EXERCISED:
- Receives supervision from the building manager.
- Position has formally assigned supervisory responsibility and authority.
- Must complete jobs without constant supervision.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- The principal duties of this position are performed in an indoor setting. May be required to drive to work sites to gather data.
ALCOHOL AND DRUG TESTING POLICY:
- This position is subject to pre-employment drug testing.
- DLP Staffing has a Drug Free Workplace Policy that includes Post-Accident Testing, Random Testing, and/or Reasonable Suspicion Testing.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must pass a background check.
Other: Valid Drivers’ License Class C
