Hiring to expand our Front Desk Team!

The job hours will vary depending on business. The perfect hire will be able to work all shifts, but will mostly be working 3pm-11pm shifts, an occasional 7am-3pm shift, and very rarely will be asked to work an 11pm-7am shift. Sometimes you will be needed as a second person on shift during busier times, and it may not be a full 8 hr shift. Weekend availability is required. Please know before applying that the hours available will vary greatly depending on the hotel's business and other team members vacation requests. During periods of high occupancy, (spring, summer, fall), the applicant can expect to work 24-40 hours. During periods of low occupancy, (winter), the applicant can expect to work anywhere from 16-32 hours, with the majority of weeks being closer to 16 hours.

Working at the Front Desk, you will be responsible for (general list, does not include everything):

• Checking guests in and out of their rooms
• Collecting method of payment from the guests
• Ensuring that the guest is made to feel welcome
• Assisting guests with travel information
• Providing suggestions to guests about things to do in the area
• Communicating clearly with the housekeeping and maintenance departments.
• Stocking and cleaning the front desk area
• Assisting the food and beverage department when needed (while on shift at the desk)
• Counting the cash drawer, counting change back to guests, recording any incoming cash
