Front Desk Receptionist - Neurology Clinic (FT;Days)
Job description
We are seeking an experienced Front Desk Receptionist to join our team at our neurology clinic! Part of the Cedar Park Regional Medical Center family, Cedar Park Neurology and Sleep Medicine offers complete care for sleep disorders and conditions of the brain, spinal cord and nervous system. Located in the Medical Office Building next to Cedar Park Regional Medical Center, our services include diagnostic testing, symptoms management and treatment.
Responsibilities
- Answer phones and schedule appointments
- Greet patients and visitors in a pleasant manner
- Patient check-in and check-out
- Prepares charts accurately and completely, ensuring completion of all intake forms
- Enters patient demographics, charges and payments into the clinic computer system
- Verifies patient insurance eligibility and coverage
- Accurately handles the collection of patient payments
- May be required to accurately conduct end of day balances
- May be required to float to other clinics as needed
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Minimum of a High School Diploma, or equivalent
- Minimum of one (1) year of Front Desk Receptionist experience in a family practice, internal medicine or OB/GYN clinic setting
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
