Job description

Cato is looking for approximately 20 people to work in its Distribution Center (DC) Warehouse eCommerce/Accessories Department. The DC Warehouse positions are responsible for accurate receipt, prep-work; ticketing, labeling, poly bagging, put-a-way with accuracy, picking and pulling products (fulfillment), and shipping (packaging) to ensure accurate eCommerce Order fulfillment for both Cato’s Customers and Stores. This role may also assist in keeping the eCommerce area replenished and/or appropriately filled with merchandise to process. The DC works first shift, start time 6 AM, Monday – Friday with some Saturdays, overtime is required, when needed.

You must be able to:

· Standing for prolonged periods, walking, and lifting items weighing up to 75 lbs

· Understand basic mathematics

· Open and Seal Cartons

· Attach or update price tickets on Merchandise

· Process, ticket & sort accurately all merchandise

· Distribute merchandise into individual store shipping cartons

· Monitor errors and resolve discrepancies.

We also have a need for approximately 6 people on our Shipping and Receiving Teams. The Shipping and Receiving Warehouseman is responsible for preparing/loading outgoing shipments and unloading/receiving incoming shipments, as well as inspecting the goods for damages.

You must be able to:

· Lift up to 75 lbs

· Read & write English.

· Properly load or unload cartons onto trailers

· Assist other teams and departments when needed
