The successful candidate for this role will have an uncompromising emphasis on safety excellence, be a self-starter and will have responsibilities that include but are not limited to:

• Operate a variety of heavy equipment and machinery
• Perform daily pre and post inspections with appropriate documentation in compliance with company policies
• Perform servicing and maintenance of equipment as trained and directed by management
• Operate equipment with a high degree of competency, skill, and proficiency
• Properly follow all company policies and OSHA / MSHA / environmental regulations for safe working procedures and environment
• Other duties as assigned by management

Wages starting at $20.00/hr. for entry level candidates. Some positions require no experience and Rogers Group will train. Higher pay for skilled operators of heavy equipment with quarry or mining experience. A shift differential is offered in addition to regular wages. Overtime available and extensive medical and retirement benefits.
Required Qualifications:

• Must have a dedication to safe work practices
• Mechanical aptitude/ability to diagnose and perform plant repairs as needed
• Must be willing to work overtime and weekends as needed
• Must be willing to work outside in a variety of conditions
• Must pass pre-employment drug screening

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in heavy equipment is preferred, but not required
• Working knowledge of quarry utilities and equipment including crushers, conveyors, scales, etc.
• Previous experience in quarry environment
• Experience welding and cutting
