Upscale boutique hotel in downtown Old Naples has an immediate general maintenance opening. Previous maintenance experience of a minimum of 5 years in hospitality.

JOB DESCRIPTION. The role of the General Maintenance position is to ensure the proper operation of all aspects of our facility. This person must establish, operate, and maintain a comprehensive facility management program which oversees the operations and maintenance of the hotel buildings. Maintenance person is responsible for performing multiple repair and maintenance tasks throughout the day, which could include, but are not limited to: carpentry work; electrical; plumbing; painting; HVAC; flooring; outdoor landscaping and general facility repairs.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

General maintenance and upkeep of the facility. Oversee the installation, repair and upkeep of the property buildings. Manage the care of hotel rooms and common areas.

Oversee systems including: HVAC, electrical, mechanical, security and locks, waste disposal, utility and piping, landscaping and safety, i.e. fire sprinkler, smoke/fire alarm detection, fire extinguishers etc.

Electrical repairs and maintenance: lightbulbs, wiring, circuit breakers, fuses.

Carpentry, painting & General Construction: woodwork, sanding, painting, etc.

General Plumbing: Toilets, faucets, fix leaks, etc.

Facility Repairs: doors, doorknobs, locks, broken tiles, polish floors, staining, etc.

Outdoors: landscaping and cleaning sidewalks and driveways, etc.

Being highly observant and security conscious

Ability to solve problems and work under pressure. Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks

Strong interpersonal skills and work ethic • Must be a team player and treat co-workers with respect.

Ability to read, write, and follow written and oral instructions; Stand or walk for an extended period of time or for an entire work shift. Bend and do repetitive movements for long periods of time, reach overhead and below the knees. Move, lift, carry, push and pull objects weighing less than or equal to 30 pounds without assistance

This is a full-time job. Flexibility with working hours - weekends and holidays required.

Pay: $17.73 - $28.00 per hour
