Description: General Production Worker

Candidates can expect to work on the production floor where they will have various responsibilities including lifting, material handling, assembling, glazing, and utilizing measurement tools to assist with the production of windows and doors. Candidates will be standing on their feet for 8-12 hours at time and lifting medium to heavy weight.

Starting Pay: $20.25 Hourly

Shift: 6:00am-4:30pm Monday –Friday W/Occasional Saturdays

Location: Fife, WA

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Operate production equipment
• Maintain the warehouse’s machines
• Assemble machinery parts
• Store products and materials
• Meet the deadlines of individual production tasks during shift glazing glass products
• Report on defective products or machinery
• Check stock levels and report deficiencies in products or raw materials
• Keep the worksite clean to avoid hazards from chemicals and fragile products
• Review and follow manufacturing manuals to build machinery
• Ensure shipping procedures are timely
• Transfer equipment manually or with forklift trucks

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Use of hand tools and ability to read measuring tools
• Safety oriented – Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) must be worn at ALL times
• Able and willing to be trained and learn different areas of production
• Ability to stand for long periods of time & moderate to heavy lifting will be involved
• Excellent attendance (ability to arrive to work on time, as scheduled on a daily basis)
• Previous experience working with glass is a huge plus
