ESSENTIAL DUTIES, FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible to write and draft proposals, write and prepare supporting documents based on the funding agency requirements.
  • Creating and updating grant related policies and procedures.
  • Responsible for preparing and submitting local, state, and federal grant applications to respond to funding opportunities for FDIHB.
  • Responsible for submitting timely progress updates and accurate financial reports for existing and potential grant projects.
  • Responsible for the oversight, planning and implementation of a comprehensive development program that secures significant aid and financial resources from foundations, corporations, and individuals in order to support the goals of FDIHB.
  • Responsible for managing and coordinating the philanthropic grant proposal development process.
  • Responsible for identifying and researching sources of funding from individuals, corporations, foundations, etc.
  • Responsible for working closely with managers to develop and organize compelling grant applications that complies with grant requirements and guidelines.
  • Act as lead strategist for growth in the FDIHB’s business and philanthropic relationships.
  • Responsible for developing and managing the networking list for the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) or Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to bring leaders and other influential into stronger relationships with the FDIHB.
  • Responsible for monitoring new and existing grants and awards and maintaining financial reporting such as the Grant Activity Schedule (GAS), Federal Financial Report (FFR),and drawdown worksheets on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
  • Responsible for understanding and complying with all policies and procedures and ensure ethical compliance.
  • Responsible for entering the grant budgets into the accounting system according to the terms outlined in the Notice of Award.
  • Responsible for reconciling expenses based on the grant budget submitted.
  • Prepares monthly or quarterly drawdowns reports for grants for CFO approval.
  • Responsible for reviewing and distributing grant revenue and expenditure reports on a monthly basis or as requested.
  • Responsible for reviewing and approving requisitions, Purchase Orders, Check Requests, Purchase Card requests to assure compliance to grant budget and expenses.
  • Responsible for providing training to Program Managers and leaders to understand the terms of the grant and financial reports.
  • Participate in internal and external audits.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

MANDATORY MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience: Four years of direct work experience.

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Health Care Administration, Accounting or closely related field.
