Graphic Designer

Posting Details
This position frequently creates publications and other pieces in-house from start to finish, which requires the preparation of files for press and production and acquiring quotes from vendors. This position is also responsible for organizing, backing up, and archiving related Communication and Marketing artwork computer files and for production management and prioritizing of work requiring design, layout, and production. This person works as a team member with a higher-level graphic designer on delivery of ideas and products.
The range of work designed and produced includes brochures, newsletters, reports, booklets, programs, ads, posters, magazine layout, signage and other environmental branding projects, presentations, invitations, postcards, promotional materials, graphics and illustration, etc. The designer’s goal is to ensure that each piece created meets the high editorial and design standards of UNC Asheville.
