SUMMARY/OBJECTIVES

Maintain and uphold the Brand Standards of South State Bank through all print and digital design channels.

• Organizational skills to maintain design files and printed files in an easily accessible manner

Perform the following duties
Marketing Coordination:

o Undertake daily administrative and coordination tasks

o Take incoming requests for advertising, sponsorship, social media and public relations

Graphic Design:

o Fulfill graphic design requests (social graphics, print advertisements, signs, outdoor, online advertisements, invitations, flyers, direct mail, brochures, manuals, pitch books, etc.)

o Collaborate on design strategy with Marketing team members

o Coordinate photo shoots for bankers as needed or special projects

o Maintains a central compliance file of all approved advertisements

o Assist with photo library

Marketing Product Content and Compliance:

o Serve as the primary contact for ensuring product information is both compliant and consistent
across all channels (including website)

o Assist with new product rollouts

o Write marketing literature and create content for website, brochures, social media and email campaigns

Promotional Materials/Printing:

o Primary contact for promotional items for the bank. Coordinate replenishing items as well as keeping promotional items fresh and relevant. Validating the product colors and logo imprint best represent the South State brand

OTHER DUTIES

• Ensures compliance of all advertisements by working with third-party and in-house compliance teams.

• Accepts other duties as assigned

COMPETENCIES

• Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite

• Excellent photo retouching skills.

• Knowledge of HTML 5 for the creation of digital advertising assets

• Good communications skills

• Customer service

• General banking knowledge

• General mathematic abilities

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• Education: Four year College Degree in Graphic Design, Communications or Marketing

• Experience: 1-3 Years Work Experience in Design-Related Profession Preferred

• Knowledge: Proficient in Design Software (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) on Macintosh platform, ability to read, write, speak and understand English

TRAINING REQUIREMENTS/CLASSES

Required annual compliance training.

Supervisory Responsibility

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORK ENVIRONMENT

Must be able to stand and/or sit for long periods of time. Must be able to effectively access and interpret information on computer screens, documents, reports, and cash denominations, and identify customers.

TRAVEL

This position does require travel.
