Fern Expo is searching for a talented Graphic Print Production Operator at our Cincinnati office. In this role, you will be responsible for producing printed graphics and ensuring the highest dedication to quality. You will be reporting to the Branch Graphic Production Manager and the Director of Creative Services.

You will be:

• Updating ticket tracking in our internal task system. Remain in contact with other department leads regarding projects/deadlines and any issues requiring attention.
• Manage inventory of large format printing and finishing equipment, including preventative maintenance.
• Developing a long-term strategy for inventory management and maintenance.
• Prepare, produce, and pack graphics for distribution throughout the country.
• Prepare and process RIP tasks for large format and other printers.
• Prepare and route panels for cutting on a die cutter.
• Matching and adjusting color output to best match requested color targets.
• Report concerns in production to the Branch Graphic Manager.
• Pre-flighting, prepress, printing, quality control, and packaging for shipment.
• Other department tasks as needed.

What you’ll bring:

• Three years of experience in large-format digital printing and signage production.
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Skilled in modern RIP software, knowledge of Onyx is a plus.
• Experience in color matching and adhering to style guidelines.
• Must be comfortable working in a culture/environment that is high-pressure, fast-paced, and often offers short execution times.
• Excellent communication and proven leadership skills.
• Technical skills with workflow processes and advanced planning for incoming projects.
• Proficient in sign finishing and detailing, including lamination, routing, and cutting. Experience with a Kongsberg cutting table is a plus.
• Excellent time management and problem-solving skills are required.

Education:

High School diploma or equivalent
