We are looking for a motivated, creative, and passionate Master Grill Cook with incredibly high standards, to join the Iconic Collection team.
The Iconic Collection consists of big name restaurants throughout Downtown Detroit such as Parc, Anchor Bar, Fountain Detroit, and Cadillac Lodge. We also have 220 Merrill and Rose Room in Birmingham. We are excited about the opportunity of you possibly joining our Iconic team.
Responsibilities
- Ability to prepare high quality steaks to the ordered temperature.
- Prepare orders according to standard recipes and venue specifications.
- Maintain and develop the core recipe program.
- Development culinary skills, team building, and delivery of exceptional customer service.
- Prepare, arrange, and plate dishes per the current menu.
- Adhere to culinary standards and regulations.
- Perform duties by following the quality standards established by the company.
- Function as a supportive team member during their shift.
- Track, record and replenish inventory as needed and in accordance with established par levels
- Adhere to all standard operating procedures and sequence of service standards.
- Maintain line of sight/atmosphere control by circulating through work area throughout shift.
- Comply with all safety and health procedures as well as company and departmental policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Degree in Culinary Science or a related certificate/training preferred.
- Steakhouse experience preferred
- Fine Dining experience preferred
- Proven ability to work as a team, stay organized, multi-task, and prioritize.
- Understand various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
- Familiar with industry best practices.
- ServSafe Food Handler certification required
