Job description
Darling Ingredients is seeking a Groundskeeper to join our team at our plant located in Wadesboro, NC. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining vegetation around plant property, maintaining and/or repairing fencing, and any assignment given for the preservation of the facility’s exterior/interior.
This position will be scheduled to work Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
- Mowing, weed removal, trimming vegetation, general landscaping.
- Repair, replace, and install fencing in and around the plant and facility.
- Painting, cleaning spills, etc.
- General Clean-up
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.
- Able to drive a pickup with a trailer attached.
- Experience using lawn mowers and landscaping equipment.
Physical Demands:
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Able to work in hot and cold conditions.
Work Environment:
- Mostly outdoor work.
- Working in all weather conditions.
