Our Santa Ynez Valley portfolio is seeking a Group Sales Coordinator to join the Sales Team! We are a growing Sales & Events Team that manages from start to finish group room blocks and special events for several properties throughout a large portfolio. Because of the unique experience our property provides, you will be assisting with every group type the industry has to offer; from Weddings, to Corporate, Social events, and even Sporting & Entertainment. Our Group Sales Team strives to provide a truly unique and memorable experience to our guests.

The role of the Coordinator is to assist and support the sales team as contracted group details are assigned. The position will be responsible for various daily, weekly, and monthly tasks while assisting the Managers with projects and team support as a whole. These tasks include (But are not limited to) the following:

• Qualifying leads
• Contract Processing
• Group Room Block Coordinating
• Group Room Data Entry
• Reporting
• Actualizing for EOM Accounting
• Project Management
• Group Room Reservation Management

Required Qualifications:

• 1-2 years hospitality experience
• Catering, & Events experience a plus
• Strong organization skills
• Strong multitasking skills and ability to shift from various tasks throughout the day • Accurate attention to detail, and service oriented
• Positive attitude, strong interpersonal and diplomatic skills
• Adequate math aptitude and cash handling ability
• Excellent communication skills and professional demeanor
• Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, & Outlook,
• Experience with data entry systems such as Sales Force, HSP, Amadeus, Tripleseat, Clock, and RMS experience a plus
• Must have flexible hours: evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Proof of eligibility to work in the United States

Due to the nature of our business, it is important for employees to understand that they may be required to work on recognized holidays. When working on a recognized holiday we provide double pay. HWV Paid Holidays: New Year’s, Memorial, Juneteenth, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas.

Accrued paid vacation time throughout the year at 3.34 hours per pay period (full-time). 48 hours of sick time provided each year as well.
