Main responsibilities of a Technician's Apprentice:

• Ability to follow direction while training
• Perform PM's
• Repair/replace tires, both in-bay and roadside
• Perform minor repairs, both in-bay and roadside

Apprentice Job Description:

We are looking for a qualified and responsible candidate who is looking for a career, the apprentice position is an entry level position to be trained to become a technician.

A good job candidate is a person who enjoys working with their hands, may have some experience working on automobiles or farm equipment.

A qualified candidate must also be able to follow instructions and be a successful member of our team. Previous experience is an advantage, and solid math and multitasking skills are a must.

Responsibilities of a Apprentice:

• Greeting customers when entering and leaving the bays
• Work safely, creating a safe work environment for themselves, fellow technicians and our customers.
• Properly diagnosing the vehicle and recommending the correct repair
• Clean work area once repair is complete
• Performing road service using one of our four service trucks
• Assisting service writer to cross or look up parts
• Upselling and cross-selling when appropriate

Apprentice Job Requirements:

• Must have at least a high school degree
• Must have a valid TN drivers license
• 1 year or more, verifiable work experience as a class 7-8 tractor and/or trailer technician or associates degree in same.
• Basic computer knowledge
• Good math skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to effectively resolve complaints by performing the proper repair
