Mission of the role:
Our client has an expansive portfolio of LDT tests covered by Medicare via MoldX. They are very well positioned for MolDx coverage as well as coverage by health systems and private payors.
The position is also a great management opportunity to build and grow the Billing department, as we add new tests to our portfolio in oncology and transplant.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise the Billing and Appeals department
- Partner with the CCO to develop the MolDx submission strategy and materials for oncology and transplant tests.
- Participate in MolDx pre-sub meetings
Key Requirements
- Extensive experience in diagnostic LDT testing market, ideally with complex molecular tests in oncology, and demonstrated track record in driving payments from commercial payers, including Medicare Advantage and health systems
- Track record of successful tactics to secure payments via appeals, prior authorization, medical records
