Help Desk / Technical Support (Level 1, 2, 3)
- F/T preferred (P/T available for the candidates working while going to college, etc)
- Wage: $17-$20+ per hour, DOE
- Benefits: Tuition Reimbursement $4,000 annually.
Do you love providing “white glove” remote & phone support for small and mid-sized business clients? Can you (or can you learn to) help on a wide variety of PC, Windows, software, and connectivity issues? Are you dependable, service-minded, and a good communicator? Do you have a positive mindset, and a solid background (or at least a strong foundation) with Windows and hardware, and strong troubleshooting skills? Do you like taking care of clients while closing tickets efficiently?
On this particular team (the “First Responders”) we have a mix of Level 1, 2, and 3 technicians with an average of 10+ years of experience, and we measure our success a few ways:
- Good phone voice, with a nurturing and adaptable style to match the situation and person
- Solid email writing skills – both tone and content
- Resolving tickets quickly and completely – no loose ends
- Learn lots, fast. New client sites, new hardware and apps, and even client names and styles
- Fast at solving common issues
- Resourceful and efficient in solving unusual issues
- Excellent customer service and tech support - making sure clients are happy and their technology is healthy
- Making sure issues get solved, not just “band-aided”
- Improving efficiency with better KB’s, documentation, and scripting / automation
