Support Technician Opportunity
Status: Full time, Remote (live in Lake Tahoe commuting area) with on-site/field service work as needed
Location: Lake Tahoe area, 25% travel possible
Position Title: Support Technician
Compensation: $50-60K plus benefits!
SUMMARY
- This position encompasses a wide variety of technical tasks and will appeal to someone who prefers a mix of office- and field-based activities. In this role, you will provide help desk support on a variety of proprietary and off-the-shelf software and hardware products including point-of-sale equipment, create and execute customer-centric programs to ensure success, and provide on-site support for installation, maintenance, and repairs of equipment and systems. The position shall continuously seek out opportunities to improve the customer experience. This may include sourcing new technology when appropriate, periodically revisiting established processes to evaluate overall effectiveness and ease of use and/or changing product configurations.
SKILLS
Applicants must possess the following minimum qualifications:
- Displays a curious nature and willingness to learn and insert themselves into the team.
- Professional client-facing experience
- Successful track record of remote work
- 3-5 years of Help desk support experience with Windows, database, troubleshooting computers, Networking
- Built own computer/IP address
- critical problem solving skills
- Ability to adopt and learn company technology platforms
- Proven ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks
- Strong initiative to seek additional tasks and follow-up on pending projects, work as part of a team and convey a positive and professional attitude towards other staff members, clients and vendors
- Physical ability to install, maintain, and repair company hardware and software at the customer site (25%)
