Home Based Home Visitors – Hornell: Pro Action’s Resilient Children and Families programming is seeking applicants for Home Based Home Visitors to serve children and families in the Hornell area.

Responsibilities of the Home Visitor include recruiting and enrolling eligible children and families, providing educational activities for expectant parents, infants, toddlers, and preschool age children in a home setting, supporting family engagement in their children’s development, and supporting families in the goal setting process and accessing additional resources.

Home Visitor positions are full-time, full year. This position requires the minimum of a home-based CDA credential or equivalent coursework as part of an Associate or bachelor’s degree. Excellent organizational and time management skills and flexibility are requirements of this position. A driver’s license meeting agency standards and reliable transportation are also required.

Home visitors must be professional, caring, and compassionate individuals who understand early childhood development and have a passion for working with children and their families. Must have excellent communication, organizational and time management skills and flexibility. A driver’s license meeting agency standards and consistent, reliable transportation are required.
