Penick Village is looking for a PRN Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor to join our Home Care Team. RN's play a critical role in providing a high standard of care for all residents within our community.

RN Supervisor Role:

• Provides assessment and reassessment of clients receiving hands-on personal care services, supervises In-home Aides and Client care.
• Assists with agency Quality Assurance as assigned and chart audits.
• Responsible for supervision of Client care and communication with other appropriate team members. Provides supervision of In-Home Aides during all hours while care is provided and validates In-home Aide competencies by demonstration.
• Responsible for following agency policy duties that a Registered Nurse may perform.
• May also serve as the Agency Director. For In-Home Aide clients, the RN Supervisor will visit the client every 90 days. One supervisory visit annually must be in presence of the Caregiver providing care.
• Responsible for the initial admission assessment and the development of a plan of care in collaboration with the client. The plan of care is incorporated into the Client's service record.

Education/Qualifications:

• Current, valid Registered Nurse License with the NC Board of Nursing or an affiliated Nurse Licensure Compact State.
• Must have a criminal background check and maintain current CPR certification.
