JOB SUMMARY:
The Home Health Adie carries out supportive duties by performing specified, non-clinical medically related skills under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse or Agency designated health care professional.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provides assistance with personal care, hygiene and activities of daily living
- Assist client(s) to bed, commode, chair, and assist with ambulation
- Measures and records temperature, pulse and respiration of each client visit
- Follows care plan as written
- Performs duties of a Home Health Aide/Certified Nursing Assistant as per the scope of practice and Florida Law
- Change pt. bed linen as needed
- Conducts self in a professional manner at all times and in all situations
- Provides agency with all required items necessary for employment
- Reports any changes in patients' condition, living conditions etc. to RN/Supervisor as they occur
- Complies with HIPPA Privacy Rules, Policies and Procedures
QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Graduate Preferred
- Must provide evidence of formal training and/or certification as a home health aide/ C.N.A as required by State Law
- Minimum of 1 year experience is required
- Must demonstrate competency training and evaluation prior to employment
