We are currently hiring for a part time Houseperson!

Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday 9:00am - 5:00pm

Your day-to-day

· Remove linens and trash from guest rooms

- Walk the outside of the property in the morning picking up any trash and emptying trash bins

· Empty all inside trash and bring to the dumpster

- Wash the pool deck and Porte-cochère weekly

- Mop the floors in lobby, stairwells, breakfast area, public restrooms and elevator

- Clean and replenish items in public restrooms

- Clean and re-stock the fitness center and business center (Including wiping down equipment)

- Polish the elevator and ice machines

- Bring and stock linens on the floors storage rooms

- Help guests - you’ll be happy to help if someone needs a toothbrush or directions for example

· Keep your supervisor updated on room service progress and alert them to any repairs needed

· Safety aware – follow our established safety procedures at all times - and wear protective equipment when needed

· Be organized - keep on top of supplies and amenities and always try to minimize waste

· Work as part of a team and communicate with other departments as per hotel procedures to ensure excellent quality and service

· May regularly assist with deep cleaning projects

· May assist with other duties as assigned

What we need from you

· It’s a physical role and you’ll be on your feet most of the day

· Strength – with occasional lifting of items up to 50 pounds / 23 kilograms and or push/pulling heavy objects

· You’ll might need to bend and kneel to complete some activities

· Literacy skills - reading, writing and basic math skills

· Flexible attitude to shifts – you will need to weekends and/or holidays

Pay: From $14.00 per hour

Shift:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift

Experience:

• Cleaning: 1 year (Preferred)
