Job description
Position Responsibilities:
- Maintain Hotel Floor Landings and Back of House in Hotels
- Empties all ashtrays, urns, and trash receptacles.
- Keeps all entry locations and foyers free of soil, trash, and litter.
- Polishes, spot cleans, and vacuums furniture, carpeted areas, and fixtures.
- Moves clean linens and stocks guest amenities to the floor storage closets. Prepares order lists and maintains par levels of supplies for guest rooms.
- Removes soiled linens to the soil linen area for transport to the laundry and separates soiled linens, weighs bins for sending to outside laundry facility.
- Washes walls and ceilings. Moves and arranges furniture, turns mattresses.
- Sets up for special functions.
- Removes trash collected by the Housekeepers in a timely manner and dumps all trash to proper recycle bins and trash compactors.
- Performs project cleaning of all carpets and hard floor surfaces as directed.
- Effectively cleans and maintains, public telephones.
- Ensures doors are always kept clean and well maintained.
- Continually polishes; spot cleans and vacuums furniture, carpeted areas and fixtures within the hotel corridors and landings
- Climbs ladders and removes and replaces drapes and sheer curtains in guest rooms when required.
- Removes and replaces mattresses and furniture in guest room when required.
- Operates a pressure washer to clean patios and balconies when required.
- Washes all floors interior windows and first floor exterior windows when requested.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Prior cleaning experience required.
- Must have prior guest contact experience.
- Must possess excellent communication skills.
- Must be able to use a Smartphone
