The
Housekeeper is responsible for daily disinfecting patient common areas and public areas, while ensuring a safe and risk preventive environment within OSHA regulations.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Perform routine cleaning disinfecting of patient’s common areas and public areas as assigned by supervisor.
- Clean areas with disinfectants, wiped down all touch surface.
- Keep cleaning supplies and equipment safely stored when not in use and away from patient access when in use.
- Assist the Director of Plant Operations as needed.
- Report any situations that may affect the health and wellbeing of patients or employees.
Position Requirements:
Experience: A minimum of 1-2 years experience in housekeeping duties, preferably in a health care facility preferred.
Licensure: Must maintain a valid driver's license in the applicable state within 90 days of employment.
Additional Requirements: Must be able to work with minimal supervision. May be required to work variable shifts, overtime and flexible hours.
