HR Organizational Effectiveness - Project Manager
Job description
This role is responsible for monitoring and tracking project progress, gathering materials, creating PowerPoint presentations, escalating risks, monitoring controls, and ensuring ongoing stakeholder updates on progress. In addition, this individual will be responsible for creating and maintaining SharePoint sites for OE. The ideal candidate is passionate about solving problems and apt to uncover both the underlining issues and suggest innovative yet practical solutions. We are looking for someone who will thrive in a dynamic, fast paced environment, and who can influence without authority and maintain great execution. The candidate will need a strong sense of urgency and attention to detail.
Job Responsibilities
- Assist with managing OE strategy, projects, processes, and deliverables
- Manage strategic fast-paced projects in partnership with the business and Human Resources
- Provide regular communication to stakeholders
- Lead projects towards resolutions, resolve issues/risks and track milestones and key deliverables
- Influence across multiple resources and teams to ensure sustained focus on priorities and appropriate visibility to the work
- Maintain our control environment by ensuring projects are completed in accordance with all Risk, Control, and other relevant firmwide guidelines
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
- 3-5 years of experience in a business management, project management or HR related role
- Ability to structure and scope complex problems and apply a range of analytical tools to develop solutions
- End-to-end problem-solving skills and ability to prioritize / analyze issues
- Strong understanding of processes and best practices of project management execution
- Strong interpersonal and influencing skills - ability to interact with colleagues at all levels and achieve goals without direct control over resources
- An ability to communicate effectively and confidently and to work well in cross-functional teams
Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Degree in Business, Human Resources Management or equivalent Human Resources or business experience preferred
- Knowledge and understanding of HR information systems (i.e. Oracle HCM, Business Objects, QlikView, Tableau, etc.) and Microsoft products (Excel, Project and PowerPoint)
- Ability to handle multiple demands and shifting priorities; operate with a sense of urgency and ambiguity
- Utilizes critical thinking and analytical skills regularly to identify issues/ trends and develop solutions and/or recommendations to address root cause
