HR Recruiting Coordinator Job Description
Supports HumanResources Team in all aspects of HR functions with a focus on recruiting. Will work closely with Management to attract, hire, and develop talent with the goal of keeping the Cortez Family of Restaurants considered as an “employer of choice”. This position will require a hands-on approach and the ability to embrace, then promote our company culture. LFCR HR Manager will demonstrate a high level of professionalism and be a role model in the further development of LFCR’s Mission Statement, Values, Beliefs, and Expectations.

Responsibilities:
- Effective interpersonal communication and relationship-building skills.
- Strong organizational and planning skills.
- Proven project management skills.
- Well-acquainted with social media recruiting
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Products including Word, Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint and Outlook.
- Promotes a team-oriented culture that emphasizes continuous improvement, high performance, and quality.
- Works with Recruiter to develop and implement a recruiting plan including the use of internal referrals, utilization of internet recruiting, career fairs, networking, and the development of creative sources for building a qualified applicant pool.
- Provides recruiting plan updates including the development of turnover statistics and analysis through exit interviews.
- Assists in the development of public relations that establish a recognizable “employer of choice” reputation for LFCR.
- Communicates with Management and Team Members regularly to establish rapport, gauge morale and source new candidate leads.
- Ensures knowledge of candidates who will be successful in our culture by immersing themselves in all aspects of restaurant operations
- Contributes to the further development of processes for background checks, certification compliance, and pre-employment drug screening
- Participates in local colleges, trade school,s and community fairs to promote LFCR opportunities.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related business field – Preferred.
Qualifications:
1+ years’ experience in Recruiting role; Hospitality Industry – Preferred.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) a must – Speaking, Reading, and Writing.
