Position Summary


Responsible for seeking out qualified candidates, confirming qualifications and placing them in open roles at The Company, and onboarding them for their first day.


Essential Job Functions:


  • Establish and maintain relationships with hiring managers to determine hiring needs.
  • Assist in formulating detailed job descriptions.
  • Use web-based technology to analyze hiring trends, post job vacancies, and following up with candidates during the hiring process.
  • Conducting pre-screening phone calls to create a shortlist of qualified candidates.
  • Coordinate with managers to set up interviews with prospective employees.
  • Extend offers to candidates and handle negotiations accordingly.
  • Conduct reference checks and background checks on applicants, including drug tests and criminal history checks.
  • Coordinate with new hires with details about their first day/starting information.
  • Welcome new hires with prepared onboarding information and an office tour.
  • Ensure new hires have the necessary IT setup (hardware, software, credentials)
  • Coordinate with uniform company and employee to ensure proper uniforms are distributed.
  • Ensuring all new hire paperwork is completed, including I-9 documentation.
  • Manage priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Ensure that fair employment practices are followed.
  • Other duties as assigned.


General Qualifications


  • The ability to work within a team and to coordinate team activities.
  • Clear verbal skills to communicate well with candidates and managers.
  • Proficient writing skills to produce reports on hiring analyses.

Minimum Requirements

Education and Experience


  • High School Diploma required.
  • Associates degree preferred.
  • At least 1 year experience recruiting, onboarding or in a similar HR role.
  • Experience with ATS and resume databases.


Physical Requirements:


  • Ability to stand, walk and sit for an extended period of time.
  • Ability to communicate in English.
  • Ability to see within normal parameters.
  • Ability to hear within normal range.
  • Ability to use hands, arms and legs within specifications of the job.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
