Responsibilities:

Terros Health is hiring an HR Support Specialist - FMLA/ADA and Workers Compensation to join our friendly, dynamic Human Resources Team in Central Phoenix.

Full-Time Employed: 40 hours/week

Location: Central Ave &Thomas Road in Phoenix, AZ

Full Benefits Package, including 401K

Generous PTO/Sick Time (4+ weeks in year 1)

Required: Must possess at least one year of experience with FMLA/ADA administration

Duties include:

  • Ensures timely reporting of all workplace injuries with the Industrial Commission and workers compensation carrier.
  • Assists managers and employees with inquiries regarding workplace injuries.
  • Ensures compliance with OSHA posting and filings for workplace injuries.
  • Assists employees and managers with medical leave requests including ADA and FMLA in a timely manner.
  • Assists employees with accommodation requests in a timely manner.
  • Ensures accurate record keeping for leave requests including communications, tracking and in e3.
  • Responsible for leave of absence administration, including ADA and FMLA, and ensures compliance with appropriate laws and Terros Health policies.
  • Follows up with managers and employees who call in sick and/or with COVID.
  • Assists with development of, and ensures compliance with, Terros Health’s COVID protocols.
Qualifications:
  • Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Preferred: College credits or AA in Liberal Arts/HR
  • Must possess at least one year of experience with FMLA/ADA administration.
  • Must possess:
    • Well-developed critical thinking and analytical abilities, and
    • Time management, organizational, conflict resolution and judgement skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to build credibility with, and interact with, other departments and leaders.
  • Proficiency using the MS Office suite, particularly word and excel, HRIS, and applicant tracking system.
  • Must have a valid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance card or apply for an Arizona fingerprint clearance card (Level 1) within 7 days of assuming the role
  • This role is a non-driving position. This position is performed at one location and does not require travel to various Terros Health centers. May be 18 years of age and with less than two years’ driving experience or no driving experience
  • Must pass a Drug Screen and TB Test
  • Must be in compliance with Terros Health’s policy for COVID-19 vaccination
