As the HRIS Specialist, you will ensure that all People and Technology related systems are improving operational processes, reducing manual labor and reflect accurate data for running our business. In addition, it is important that they are regularly updated and compliant with labor regulations.
- Supervising the day-to-day activities of all systems that interact with our employees (ADP WFN and WFM, Payroll and Time systems, Case Management, HSD Insights (exit and stay interview data), LMS, ATS and other people related systems.
- Supporting management on structural policy matters related to the HRIS with a focus on continuous improvement to reduce manual work, while driving an increase to automation and accuracy.
- Maintaining data integrity in systems by regularly analyzing data.
- Working alongside the IT department to perform regular assessments and improvements to the HRIS.
- Designing user-friendly processes, guidelines, and documentation.
- Facilitating monthly training for new users of the system.
- Overseeing all system upgrades and system additions in partnership with the Information Technology (IT) department.
- Ensuring all HR-related systems are compliant with data protection laws.
- Review computer system capabilities, workflow, and limitations. Create policies and procedures in the absence of system ability.
- Determine cost, timetable, and compatibility for new systems.
- Consult with field leaders to define and document user requirements to implement new systems and processes.
- Benefits feeds and enrollment.
Qualified candidates will possess the following:
- Bachelor's degree in IS, HR, Business or other relevant skills and education
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in an HRIS specialist
- Practical experience with database administration in HCM, ATS software, LMS, case management and payroll systems
- Project Management experience required
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Ability to evaluate software systems
- Ability to learn new technologies quickly.
- Experience working and implementing the following platforms:
- ADP Workforce Now required
- Case Management Software
- Applicant Tracking Systems
- Learning Management and Performance Management
- Payroll and time keeping systems
WORK ENVIRONMENT
- Some travel may be required
- Home office required
- Austin based preferred with 1-2 days in office each week
- Must be located in either Texas or California
