FACILITY/GROUP SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist in the development and presentation of relevant HSE trainings and conducting associated HSE trainings.
  • Conduct incident investigations and facility inspections.
  • Assist in compliance reviews, general risk assessments and other safety assessments to support Health, Safety and Environmental management.
  • Maintain relevant HSE logs and prepare applicable HSE reports.
  • Provide assistance and advice on HSE issues and make preventative solution recommendations to facility management.
  • Participate in detailed incident investigations and facility inspections to promote incident prevention for the benefit of employees and visitors.
  • Assists in maintaining all Health Safety and Environmental records, permits and reports as required by Federal, State(s), and Various Local Regulatory Agencies.
  • Assists in the transportation of injured persons to a local treating facility.
  • Alerts HSE Manager immediately in regards to an incident or potential HSE issues.
  • Identify workplace hazards or unsafe working conditions and ensuring appropriate corrective action is taken encouraging safe working practices.
  • Ensure all containers of hazardous materials are properly labeled, stored and/or disposed of.
  • Perform other work-related tasks as requested and/or assigned by the HSE Manager or Director of Operations

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in occupational health, safety, and environmental regulations preferred.

  • Excellent communication (verbal and written), collaboration, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to multi-task under strict, deadline-oriented, and fast-paced working environments
  • Ability to engage at all levels of the organization.
