Position: Part Time Resource Supply Associate

Position Summary: Flora Fresh Inc. is an employee-owned wholesale floral, plant, and floral supply distributor located in Sacramento, California. As a Resource Supply Associate you will be the first associate our walk-in and pick-up customers interact with. Customers will rely on your expertise in ribbon, vases, and all the decorations needed to take their floral arrangements to the next level. In your role you will pull orders, invoice and package orders, and assist with warehouse stocking. Resource Supply and Will-Call associates are the face of Flora Fresh and we will rely on you to uphold our high customer service standards.

Compensation:

• $18.00 per hour

Regular Duties:

• Accurately identify supply items including vases, ribbons, and other supplies.
• Assist with customer questions regarding substitutions, inventory, and sales.
• Accurately ring-up orders for walk-in and pick-up orders and process payments via cash, credit cards, and checks.
• Pull pre-book orders for later pick-up time or for scheduled deliveries.
• Box and carry out orders up to 50lbs.
• Assist with keeping the warehouse tidy by emptying trash, wiping down counters and displays, sweeping, and removing boxes or pallets.
• Assist with off-loading supply deliveries and move boxes within the warehouse to restock shelves and help fill displays. Frequently off-loading pallets of boxes weighing 50lbs.
• Assist with cashiering in Will-Call as needed.
• All other duties as requested.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 18 years of age.
• Ability to work Monday-Friday between 6:00AM-4:00PM.
• Most shifts are 4 hours, but additional hours will occasionally be needed
• Must not be afraid of heights and able to use a ladder, stairs, and stock picker.
• Must be able to identify colors to appropriately pull orders.

Working Conditions:

• In-person in Sacramento, CA
• Day shifts Monday-Friday between 6:00AM-4:00PM
• Work is primarily standing and walking in a warehouse environment. Frequently entering and exiting a refrigerated cooler. Warehouse areas are not temperature controller and can be cold or hot depending on external temperatures.
• Frequent reaching, grabbing, transferring materials, and typing. Frequent bending, stooping, and overhead reach. Frequently lifting 25lbs. Occasionally lifting 75lbs.
• Must be able to consistently work around plants and flowers of different varieties.
