Position Summary

The Human Resources Director is responsible supporting MMT’s most important asset: its people. The HR Director has ownership of all HR functions, including employee onboarding, benefits, performance management, employee relations, recruiting and HR systems. This role will also drive key people initiatives around employee engagement, development, and culture. This is an opportunity to engage with the Senior Leadership Team on shaping the company’s people strategies and programs as it continues to grow. The role reports directly to the CEO and is responsible for all HR functions.


Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Support the Senior Leadership Team by acting as a trusted advisor on people and culture. Create and execute on an annual HR Strategic plan in support of company goals.
  • Partner with leadership team to support employee development through coaching, mentorship, training and development programs.
  • Manage the talent acquisition process, including recruiting, interviewing, and hiring top talent. Oversee all relationships and contracting with recruiting agencies to ensure strong partnerships.
  • Champion the onboarding process, ensuring the process is up to date and of high quality, providing clarity and connection for all employees.
  • Oversee the performance management process for all employees. Support leaders on building strong performance management skills including setting goals, providing feedback and supporting development plans.
  • Ensure legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable HR federal and state requirements.
  • Maintain HR systems to ensure data accuracy and compliance.
  • Analyze trends in compensation and benefits; research and propose competitive base and incentive pay programs to ensure the organization attracts and retains top talent.
  • Determine policy gaps and work with leadership to implement or update current polices as well as answers requests for information related to policies, procedures, and company programs.
  • Provide reporting and analysis of key HR metrics.

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, HR, or a related field, or a combination of coursework and experience.
  • At least 8 years’ in Human Resources, including experience leading HR.
  • Experience building and managing HR programs and processes.
  • Strict adherence to confidentiality and discretion.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including active listening.
  • Builds strong relationships with employees at all levels within the organization. Comfortable partnering with leaders and C-suite.
  • Strong computer skills with proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office 365.
  • Familiarity with HR systems is required. Experience with BambooHR and Lattice are a plus.
  • PHR, SPHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred.
