Position Title: Human Resources Generalist
Wage: $60,000 - $65,000/year
Shift: 1st
Hours: 8:00am – 5:00pm

- Recruit, interview, hire and train new staff
- Oversee relationships with staffing agencies
- Approve weekly timecards
- Handle discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy
- Collaborate with senior leadership to understand organization’s goals and strategy related to staffing, recruiting and retention
- Plan, lead, develop, coordinate and implement policies, processes, training and initiatives to support the organization’s human resource compliance and strategy needs
- Identify staffing and recruiting needs, developing and executing best practices for hiring and talent management
- Monitor and ensure organization’s compliance with federal, state and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices
- Review and modify policies and practices to maintain compliance
- Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes and new technologies in human resources, talent management and employment law
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration or related field
- At least one year of human resource experience
- SHRM-CP or PHR highly preferred
- Excellent communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Strong supervisory and leadership skills
- Knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations
- Proficient with Microsoft Office
- Proficient with organization’s HRIS and talent management systems
