High Mountain Heating & Air is a small, family-owned HVAC company with offices in Missoula and Seeley Lake. We service a range as far south as Hamilton and as far north as Polson and we are deeply committed to maintaining air quality for Montana families. Pay Scale $14-$17/hr DOE

Hours: Slightly flexible 40 hours per week within business hours Monday-Friday 8am-5pm, overtime approved as needed

On-the-job training is provided but some experience would be helpful.

Promotion to HVAC Installer possible within 1-2 years depending on competency and drive.

Responsibilities:

- Contact the person you scheduled to work with to establish start time and meeting point for next scheduled task

- Aide a trained Installer or Service Technician with scheduled task.

- May need to occasionally make a parts run to local parts house

- Will help installer change out HVAC units or modify/install ducts on Residential properties or install new units at new construction sites.

Required Qualifications:

- Must be at last 18yrs of age

- HS diploma or equivalent

- Must be able to meet the physical demands of this position: bending, squatting, kneeling, crawling, climbing ladders, lifting 30lbs+ from ground regularly, etc.

- Montana drivers license and insurable driving record

- Able to approach assigned work in a professional manner, working toward the common goal of teamwork, pride in service delivery and continuous improvement.

- Must possess computer literacy, smart phone literacy, mechanical reasoning skills and problem solving skills.

- Must be able to read, understand, and follow all safety rules and policies.

- Must be able to read and understand a tape measure and perform basic math

- Must have excellent work ethic and positive attitude

- Must be able to learn new tools/equipment

Desired Qualifications:

- Excellent organizational skills

- Excellent written and verbal English language skills

- Experience with duct vacuum equipment

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
