Summary

We are looking for an enthusiastic and creative Digital Media and Engagement Coordinator and online community manager to help bring Samsung Electronic America's employer brand strategy to life through various digital activations. Your work will contribute to the adoption of Samsung's employer brand and Employee Value Proposition (EVP) by maintaining the company's LinkedIn content calendar, posting accordingly and engaging with various groups on the channel including prospective employees, interns, current employees and alumni. You will also coordinate and create collateral and assets for internal and external brand campaigns.

Responsibilities & Duties

• Manage Samsung Electronics America's LinkedIn page and partner cross-functionally with stakeholders in other departments such as Corporate Communications, Marketing, and Recruitment to maintain balanced activity and consistent messaging.
• Utilize exceptional communication skills to promote Samsung's employer brand via social media.
• Design strategies to actively track social media post performance and strategize how to optimize content.
• Create and design successful and brand-compliant content.
• Benchmark competitor brand activation strategies and make recommendations on innovative and eye-catching approaches to increase employer brand awareness.
• Manage internal and external relationships to ensure all design and assets align to Samsung's brand guidelines and track against predetermined deadlines.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from a four-year college/university or equivalent experience
• Minimum 3 years digital content creation, online community management, or marketing experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Willingness to think outside of the box and present new ideas
• Must be extremely organized (prioritization is key) with superior attention to detail
• Effectively communicate with members of all levels of management in a professional manner
• Ability to work in an ambiguous and fast paced environment
• A team player who is self-motivated with a sense of urgency to learn and succeed
• Ability to work well under pressure
• Goal driven and target oriented with the ability to see big picture
• Basic graphic creation skills are required (using Canva or Adobe suite); please include a link to sample work. Adobe Photoshop and InDesign skills with a keen eye for design a plus but not required
• Photography and video editing skills a plus but not required
