Job Description

A Hydraulics Designer is responsible for completing the following duties:

• Coordinate and assemble fluid power systems
• Perform and coordinate layout and design of hydraulic system
• Create hydraulic drawings and schematics
• Perform research and selection of hydraulic components
• Complete bills of material for hydraulic systems
• Evaluate and implement hydraulic design changes
• Provide service, sales and manufacturing support for hydraulic systems
• Troubleshooting hydraulic systems
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• 2 year technical education and/or applicable experience in Fluid Power
• Thorough understanding of:
  • Hydraulic relationships such as pressure, flow, efficiencies, power
  • Mechanical power relationships such as horse power, torque, speed, ratios
  • Applications of various hydraulic components
  • Electrical relationships such as voltage, current, power, AC/DC
• Excellent customer and vendor relationship skills
• Excellent communication and skills
