Job description
Who does not like Ice Cream? We service ice cream equipment for many chains like Dairy Queen, Burger King, Sonic and Five Guys as well as lots of independent ice cream shops throughout New England. Due to expansion, we are looking for a mechanics for the repair of food service equipment. We are looking for candidates within 1 hours of Claremont to join our team, who we will train and support and who will grow with us. We do not work with subcontractors.
Company: Acana Northeast Inc. is the exclusive distributor of Electro Freeze in New England. Electro Freeze is a premier manufacturer of ice cream freezers and frozen desert equipment. Our machines are in many of the major national establishments, as well as in many independent businesses. The Electro Freeze brand is highly regarded as being the choice for a top-quality, long-lasting product. Our machines are proudly made in the USA. Acana Northeast Inc, is also the exclusive distributor for Wadden Systems Inc., the company widely known in New England for the 24 Flavors of Soft Serve.
- Basic computer skills at a minimum will needed.
- Ability to provide start-up training to a customer and employees on how to use, clean and sanitize a machine as well as assemble and disassemble a machine.
Schedule:
- 5 days a week and with some weekend assignments. Typical week is 25-50 hours +, with opportunity for a lighter schedule in the winter if desired.
Salary, Benefits and other details:
- Based upon experience and level of mechanical skill.
- Sign up bonus $ 5000 (to be paid out over the first 6 months)

Requirements:
- Must have clean driving record and be drug-free. Successful candidate will need to present a current state driving record document.
We will train the right candidate on our equipment. Ice cream equipment is a special niche in the refrigeration field and becoming expert on this type of equipment will provide a life-long, profitable skill-set. You will almost always work in comfortable environments - not on a roof-top in August.
