SUMMARY: WR has an opportunity for a Program Management Analyst - Scheduler to provide management analysis and scheduling to support our NIWC customers.
Position responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:
- The PMA - Scheduler will use MS Project to work effectively with the team in the following capacities:Provide technical and management scheduling support for the PM
Develop and maintain a resourced Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) using Microsoft Project
Advise the PM at least weekly (and daily as needed) on task and deliverable due dates, slippage, and impact
Identify and include the sequencing and duration of key events and milestones into the IMS
Coordinate with team leads at least weekly (and daily as needed) on their tasks to communicate the status, progress, and future workflows/events to keep the project on track
Attend weekly IMS meetings with PM and government project lead
Help identify and incorporate the essential interrelationships between work tasks, subtasks and related workstreams, duration of tasks, and their impact on project schedule, risk and resources
Help develop and manage data/metrics to support statistical analysis and historical trends of acquisition performance
Help develop communications products as needed; e.g., memos, issue papers, PowerPoint slide decks, training aids, etc
Support the PM in tracking accomplishment of team member training and system access per customer requirements. These requirements have significant impact on the resource availability
Support PM in an analyst role to understand and identify specified and implied tasking and required reports
Work with team members to maintain a list of processes and to track process improvement and updates
Attend other meetings and provide meeting notes on behalf of the PM as required
Candidates must possess the following knowledge, skills, and experience:
- Bachelor's degree OR
- Associates degree with at least two (2) additional years of related experience OR
- High School Diploma and four (4) additional years of related work experience
- IMS certification/training (Microsoft or other provider) Software is desired
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Certified Associate PMP or a PMP certification is nice to have
- Must have at least two (2) years of experience with Microsoft Project and maintaining a resource loaded IMS (Integrated Master Schedule)
- Two (2) years of Contract Management experience, to include:Development of Program Acquisition Documentation
Data Collection and Analysis
Development of Cost Estimates
Development of Program Status Reports
- Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and DoD procurement policies and procedures
- Ability to coordinate and track team requirements, and in developing communications products (e.g., PowerPoint slide decks, memos, etc.) used to help inform stakeholders of project status, progress and plans
- Sound analytical skills, judgment and initiative
- Strong written/verbal communication skills and time management skills
- Must work effectively with the team
- Should be willing and able to pursue a Certified Associate PMP or a PMP certification if not already certified
