Ladybug & Friends Daycare and Preschool is seeking caring and engaging full-time lead teacher (director qualified) who is dedicated to fostering the development of children in our growing schools.

Our LFDP team is composed of dedicated educators who understand child development and want to partner with our team where children can thrive in an environment which values their uniqueness and creates the foundation upon which they can build their future.

Qualifications:
60 credit college hours with 6 in Early Childhood or a CDA
1+ year experience working in Early Childhood (or related field)

Responsibilities:
Model positive and respectful behavior
Interact with children to support exploration, learning, and social-emotional skills
Meet the specific needs of each child
Foster a respect for cultural differences and community
Maintain a safe, nurturing environment
Conduct assessments & conferences with parents
Establish and maintain positive relationships with children, staff, and parents
Work and communicate effectively with all staff (including collaborating teacher)
Participate in staff and training meetings
Follow LFDP policies, procedures, and curriculum
Abide by DCFS rules and regulations
Be able to sit on the floor and speak to children at eye level

3 Letters of recommendation
Pass a background check/fingerprint clearance
COVID vaccinated or submit weekly negative COVID tests

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Salary based on education level and experience.
