Infection Prevention Specialist (Registered Nurse)
Job Description:
Works collaboratively with all members of the healthcare team to assure the safety of patients, personnel, visitors, and the community. Responsibilities include compiling, analyzing, and disseminating infection prevention data, reviewing and recommending changes in practice when indicated, and providing education consistent with best practice standards and requirements of regulatory agencies, e. g. , TJC, OSHA, and the goals and mission of Essentia. Work Experience: Minimum of 2 years clinical experience in a patient care setting (prefer inpatient/hospital setting), medical lab, public health, infection prevention, or closely related field.

The approximate base compensation range is posted, but the actual offer will reflect our total compensation and benefits package. The offer will be determined by a number of factors including the selected candidate's experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, FTE, as well as internal equity among our team.
