About our Inside Sales Representative


Our ideal candidate has a passion for driving sales and building relationships. Our salesperson will learn about our products to support and grow established accounts, as well as pursue opportunities for new business. If you're motivated by closing sales and connecting with people, this is the position for you!


Responsibilities

  • Build meaningful relationships with customers and internal parties to effectively advocate for customers' needs
  • Actively cultivate new customer opportunities to grow our business
  • Develop an understanding of our extensive product offerings to provide technical expertise to customers
  • Track and follow up on business opportunities; communicate and enter sales orders in our software system

These are some of the more frequent tasks you could expect to perform during your workday, but you may be called upon to fulfill other duties as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or four (4) years of direct sales experience
  • Technical aptitude is necessary, and industrial sales experience is a plus
  • Proficient with Microsoft Applications and Quickbooks; ability to learn and adapt to new software programs

GDS Corp is a subsidiary of Welker, Inc. This is an in-office, full time position working Monday – Friday. The candidate will be primarily based out of the Welker offices in Sugar Land, TX with some training completed at GDS Corp in League City, TX.
