Thriving private label company in the heart of midtown Manhattan seeks an Intimates Designer for contemporary branded product.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be highly skilled in Adobe Suite – Illustrator & Photoshop
• Must have knowledge of intimates construction & fabrications
• Keen eye for color & print
• Excellent organizational skills
• 5+ years’ working experience in intimates design & a degree in fashion or related field

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Working closely with the Design Director to create seasonal collections
• Designing innovative product with an understanding of how to translate trends into market
• Creating flat sketches, CAD presentations, packaging, & branding artworks
• Extensive market & trend research
• Generating color palettes
• Maintain consistent communication with cross functional teams Tech., Production, & Sales
• Overseeing the design process from initial concept through final product
• Reviewing & approving all lab dips + strike-offs
• Meet all calendar deadlines
• Attend fittings

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday

• New York, NY 10018: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• Garment construction: 5 years (Preferred)
• Fashion design: 5 years (Preferred)
• Adobe Illustrator: 5 years (Preferred)
