Ceres Landcare is an established, professional, award winning, full-service landscaping firm looking for new team members! Experience is preferred; however, we have a solid in-house training program and can train anyone with the right attitude and willingness to learn. This position is best suited for people who are happiest when working outdoors, staying busy, and enjoy rewarding hard work. We have work in construction, gardening, planting, tree care, irrigation. Ceres Landcare is a full-service design, build and maintenance firm and has been servicing Eagle and Summit County for 20 years. We work on high altitude, high end, commercial and residential properties.

While gardening experience isn’t required, there are certain character traits we can’t train, which are inherently important to our day-to-day operations. OUR SEASON:

Our season starts in April and can extend easily into December. We do request that employees stay as long as possible to help finish the season. There are however a few exceptions we make for students, employees with other seasonal jobs, and those with extended travel plans.


WORK WEEK:

We work Monday through Thursday typically. We don’t usually work weekends and have major holidays off. We usually work 10-hour days Monday through Thursday and reserve Friday for extra work and overtime as needed.

DEPARTMENT: Irrigation

ACCOUNTABILITY: Responsible for producing irrigation processes, including the management of crew members

JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for managing specific construction, maintenance or renovation projects to completion on-time and on-budget. This position may require estimating, design, quality control, crew management and manual labor and may operate independently or with labor assistance.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITY

Perform basic maintenance repairs and adjustments
Troubleshoot and diagnose systemic irrigation issues
Basic water feature maintenance
Refined understanding of irrigation principles and industry standards
Manage crews
Refined understanding of best practices for installation
95% field, 5% office


EDUCATION/SKILL REQUIREMENTS


4+ years related field experience
High level communication skills
Project tracking and daily reporting
Verbal and written English skills
Independent thinking and planning
Spanish communication skills desired

COMPENSATION
