As the Manager of Information Services, you will lead the information services function for the company. Responsible to deliver IT services through effective resource management and the bridging of communications and understanding between IT, operations/business units and external customers. Will have ownership for the delivery of IT services that exist to support complex business operations by demonstrating effective leadership for those involved in the development, design, optimization, and delivery of information service solutions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Drive the global IT strategic direction.
• Accountability for the provision of a reliable, stable, and sustainable service which meets the customer’s needs.
• Lead the IT organization in priorities, performance metrics, and evaluation of personnel.
• Drive the delivery of a high-quality IT service across all operational and support areas.
• Accountability for driving the IT service agenda and for facilitating and implementing IT service improvements across the business.
• Communication and management of business unit and operational IT service issues.
• Provide technical support to end users, including business analysts, line associates, etc.
• Work with internal IT team and implementation partners in design, delivery, and deployment of solutions for manufacturing.
• Collaborate with, and understand the needs of internal/external customers from a business process and product perspective to drive key IT solutions.
• Drive metrics management to improve the performance of IT support and services with a focus on a data driven, continuous improvement approach.
• To identify, track and manage operational risks by providing strong co-ordination with the business, business continuity, IT audit requirements and software compliance.
• Configure, design and maintain the Oracle E-Business Suite (ERP) software and Wonderware Manufacturing Execution System (MES) software and other related business processing modules.
• Apply knowledge and experience with ERP and MES capabilities to propose the best business solutions, opportunities, and optimizations for business processes related to manufacturing.
• To identify, track and manage operational risks by providing strong co-ordination with the business, business continuity, IT audit requirements and software compliance.
• Responsible for the cost management and forecasting of IT services.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or Business Administration.
• 10+ years of hands-on experience in IT Manufacturing Planning & Execution.
• Experience of delivering ERP and MES systems in a working environment.
• Ability to use knowledge, sound judgment, and resourcefulness to support the design and deployment of global technology solutions.
• Ability to balance multiple priorities and meet deadlines and work under pressure.
• Demonstrated leadership and resource management experience.
• Interpersonal skills in working with the customer, management and technical teams in a “self-starter” role.
• Detail oriented.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in end-to-end MES implementation, upgrade and support projects.
• Experience in IT solutions that utilize the below or similar technologies:
  • Oracle Database
  • Microsoft Database and C#/.NET
  • Business Objects
