JOB STATEMENT:

IT Business Applications Specialist II role is the primary liaison between IT and assigned business area(s). The role focuses on developing and applying in-depth business and technical domain knowledge to provide technical, application and process solutions to help drive business results. IT Business Applications Specialist II functions include: business systems analysis, test management, project management, relationship management, business domain subject-matter expertise, application support, reporting, request management, application training, strategic & tactical application planning and low-code development where applicable.

IT Business Application Specialist II will work with assigned business unit leaders to set priorities and must be able to work effectively individually with limited supervision in a collaborative group setting to deliver on assigned work.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

· Provide application subject-matter expertise to assigned business area(s) to implement business process and application usage improvement to drive business value

· Document and maintain application eco-system to define requirements for short- and long-term requests and initiatives within assigned business area(s)

· Manage, prioritize and deliver on small to medium sized projects & requests from assigned business area(s)

· Primary liaison/internal IT consultant role for assigned business area(s)

· Train customers, as needed, in assigned business area(s) on application capabilities

· Assist team members and consultants as required for project and request delivery

· Understand and comply with ISO/HACCP requirements

· Perform any other duties as assigned by Manager

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Education/Experience:

· 3-5 years work experience in Information Technology in business facing role (IT Project Management, Business Systems Analysis, Business Relationship Management, ERP Application Analysis, Business Intelligence Analysis etc.)

· 5-7 years work experience in a business role with a technology focus

· 4-year degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Business w/related experience in Business Systems Analysis, Technology Project Management etc. preferred

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

· Strong knowledge of ERP and/or corporate systems & processes (IFS preferred)

· Solid knowledge of IT solutions, tools, processes and methods

· Solid knowledge of SQL Programming (PL/SQL preferred)

· Basic knowledge of Low-Code solution (NovaCura Flow / Portal preferred)

· Solid knowledge of Business Intelligence & Reporting solutions (e.g. Crystal Reports, Power BI, Phocas, etc.)

· Solid ability to partner with and provide internal IT Consulting to business units

· Solid ability to troubleshoot business & technical issues effectively

· Solid ability to manage corporate-wide technology projects & initiatives (Mid-sized)

· Excellent written and oral presentation skills

· Knowledge of ISO or other Quality Management Systems

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $73,840.00 - $92,560.00 per year

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability
