IT Customer Support Lead

The City of Zeeland is accepting applications to fill the position of IT Customer Support Lead. Under the direction of the Information Technology Director, this person will be a key member of the Information Technology Department. The individual in this position will provide excellent IT Customer Support and is responsible for computer, peripheral and technology preparation, deployment and support. In coordination with other IT Department staff, the IT Customer Support Lead will assist with implementation of network infrastructure and third-party systems. The IT Customer Support Lead will have additional opportunities to work with infrastructure level technologies and provide backup support for the IT Network Engineer/Project Coordinator. Applicants for this position must possess strong communication skills and applied computer and end user device knowledge. On call rotation and some work outside of normal business hours may be required. This is an non-exempt position with excellent benefits.
