Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Security Professional with a background in ISO-27001 and SOC-II to join our dynamic and growing organization. As an IT Security Professional, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our information systems and data. You will be responsible for
implementing and maintaining robust security measures, assessing risks, and developing strategies to mitigate potential threats. This is an excellent opportunity for a talented professional looking to further their career in the field of information security.
Responsibilities:
- Implement and manage the organizations information security policies, procedures, and controls in alignment with ISO-27001 and SOC-II standards. Conduct regular security audits, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing to identify potential risks and vulnerabilities.
- Develop and maintain security incident response plans, ensuring prompt and effective responses to security incidents.
- Monitor and analyze security logs, events, and alerts to identify and respond to potential security breaches or threats.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security requirements are integrated into system development life cycle processes.
- Provide guidance and support to business units in the implementation and maintenance of security controls, including network security, system hardening, access controls, and other general IT needs (laptop troubleshooting, cloud administration, networking, telecommunicaitons).
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in the field of information security, including emerging threats and technologies.
- Conduct security awareness training and promote a culture of security awareness and compliance within the organization.
- Assist in the development and implementation of business continuity and disaster recovery plans.
- Participate in external security audits and regulatory compliance assessments, providing necessary documentation and evidence.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of relevant work experience in information security, with a strong background in ISO-27001 and SOC-II compliance.
- Proficiency in conducting security audits, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing.
- Solid understanding of security principles, best practices, and industry standards.
- Experience in implementing and managing security controls, including network security, firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and access controls.
- Familiarity with security tools and technologies, such as SIEM, DLP, antivirus, and encryption.
- Strong knowledge of risk assessment methodologies and incident response procedures.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate security risks.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA are highly desirable.
- Knowledge of regulatory frameworks, such as GDPR or HIPAA, is a plus.
