The Product Owner / Analyst is primarily responsible for supporting the implementation of technology solutions by determining requirements, developing solutions, supporting implementation efforts, and providing technical assistance to ensure value is realized. The Product Owner / Analyst has good technical and business knowledge to align product development with organizational objectives and business nuances.

The Product Owner / Analyst works in an Agile environment and continuously reviews the customer needs, refines priorities, outlines milestones and deliverables, and identifies opportunities and risks. This individual is also responsible for supporting multiple development efforts and working closely with multiple stakeholders across the business throughout the lifecycle of a product.

This position is expected to function effectively with moderate supervision while following the guidelines given on procedures, along with agency, federal, and state licensing regulatory requirements.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage product roadmaps, requirement documents, backlogs, and other key artifacts related to product development;
  • Work with stakeholders to plan, test, and implement products across the organization;
  • Configure products across existing stakeholder platforms (CMP, ExtendedReach, NetSmart, etc.) based on identified requirements;
  • Plan, schedule, and lead collaborative product meetings with technical leads and business users;
  • Evaluate user acceptance and utilization to ensure business value is derived from the product;
  • Create key product documents, such as process maps, diagrams, and user guides to provide direction to developers and/or the project team;
  • Deliver end-user training, including equipping the Application Support Team to manage ongoing support after project launch;
  • Assist with the planning, scheduling, and tracking of sprints and deliverables using appropriate tools for multiple software development and implementation projects;
  • Respond to relevant tickets for troubleshooting or product enhancement throughout the product lifecycle;
  • Collaborate with the Business Intelligence team to develop reporting tools to monitor activity, evaluate impact, and reports to key stakeholders;
  • Follow department protocol by applying Agile methods, tools, and processes as standard practice;
  • Stay abreast of emerging product management trends and best-practices;
  • Complete other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field of study from an accredited college;
  • One to three three (3) years of experience working as a business analyst, product owner, or project manager, preferred;
  • Experience working in an Agile environment, a plus;
  • Technically competent with Microsoft Office software with the aptitude to learn new software programs;
  • Demonstrated success launching technology products;
  • Skilled in cross-functional collaboration with a wide variety of stakeholders, partners, and team members;
  • Ability to work on multiple products/projects at the same time;
  • Experience analyzing, documenting, and recommending improvements to complex business processes;
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills;
  • Active motor vehicle license and maintain a reliable vehicle with adequate insurance coverage;
  • Pass a criminal history screen, including state and local child protection agency registries;

Salary disclosure for residents of Colorado, Washington, California & NYC: ($49,445-$76,640) base rate plus a 0-10% differential for CO and WA, 1-25% for CA and a 20% for NYC*
