Location is Dallas Texas.
Work from home flexibility. Must be located within the Dallas Texas area.

Salary is based on Technical interview and experience and will be discussed during initial screening.


Duties and Requirements:

Manage complex ITS projects requiring airport industry subject matter experts (SMEs) in areas for IT Program Manager, Project Consultation, Custom Software Development Projects, and infrastructure systems implementations. This Delivery Order will provide professional consulting services required for, including but not limited to, the analysis, study, planning, design, implementation of Airport technology projects and service delivery. The resource will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks including planning, facilitating meetings, setting deadlines, assigning responsibilities, and monitoring, summarizing, and communicating progress of the project. They will actively lead and direct cross functional teams and vendors to ensure all deliverables, program/ project/campaign objectives, process milestones and quality measures are completed on-time and on-budget.


Principle Duties
  • Project Planning: Developing project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation, and ensuring that the project objectives are clearly defined and aligned with the overall business strategy.
  • Risk Management: Identifying potential project risks and developing risk mitigation plans to minimize the impact of these risks on the project's timeline, budget, and scope.
  • Stakeholder Management: Communicating effectively with stakeholders and managing their expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Resource Management: Allocating project resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to ensure that the project is completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensuring that the project meets all relevant quality standards and that all deliverables meet the expectations of stakeholders.
  • Budget Management: Developing and managing project budgets, tracking expenses, and ensuring that the project stays within budgetary constraints.
  • Schedule Management: Developing and managing project schedules, tracking progress, and ensuring that the project stays on schedule.
  • Change Management: Managing project changes and ensuring that all changes are documented and approved by relevant stakeholders.
Statement of Work
  • Reporting and Documentation: Preparing regular progress reports and other project documentation, including project plans, risk registers, change logs, and status reports.
  • Close-out and Handover: Ensuring that the project is properly closed out and handed over to the relevant stakeholders, including conducting post-project reviews to identify areas for improvement and lessons learned.
  • Creates Rough Order of Magnitudes (ROM), activity duration estimates, and cost-benefit analyses.
  • ITS team communication
  • Interface with Digital Strategy Work Group
  • Ensure compliance with internal project management methodology and change control procedures including Sciforma updates.
  • ITS PMO team meeting attendance and participation (twice weekly)
  • ITS PMO senior staff coordination meeting and participation (Weekly)
  • Inter-departmental coordination and communication for project success
  • Overnight work may be required based on project assignment.
Specified/Expected Deliverables
  • SME level consulting guidance and communication strategies
  • Project schedules with milestone deliverables
  • Project cost and budget estimates
  • Project status and performance reports (Weekly, Monthly and Quarterly)
  • Monthly project report,
  • Report risks events, change request w/impact analysis, and issues.
  • Meeting minutes and action item logs as needed.
  • Project specific scheduling, budgeting, QAQ


Required Experience:

  • Technical Project Management
  • Project Estimation Modeling
  • Large Change Management Initiatives
  • Implementing Enterprise Architecture frameworks.
  • 5+ years of experience in information technology project management
  • Waterfall and Agile project management methodologies
  • Experience with Sensor Monitoring Technology
  • Experience with network migrations and infrastructure cut-overs
  • Ability to work overnight to support project deployments
Level of Expertise:
  • Senior Level with technology experience


Education and Certifications:

  • PMP or Lean Six Sigma certification a plus.
  • Knowledge of common SDLC methodologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to interact with all levels of management.
  • Experience developing breakthrough processes in a matrixed environment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communicator with strong interpersonal, negotiation and organizational skills
  • Cost Estimator certification from ICEAA or AACE a plus
  • Possession of a valid Class C driver's license
