Job description
Pomeroy is in need of an IT Support Technician to service our Eden Prairie MN client, onsite. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, PC tech/break-fix experience, along with user support experience. This is a long-term contract with health benefits.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Must be able to communicate to various levels of end users and be the sole provider to assist in their issues.
- Support user issues with Active Directory, mobile devices, handheld scanner and printers.
- Must be able to use online ticketing system to document issues, etc.
- Exceptional Service and Customer mind-set
- Problem solver, good troubleshooting skills
- In-depth understanding of PC architecture and basic understanding of IT infrastructure concepts
- Knowledge and expertise in ITIL.
- Experience working with ServiceNow.
- Technical experience supporting users globally in first- and second-line support.
- Break down PC/Desktops
- Provide hardware and software troubleshooting to end users
- Provide hardware break/fix support to end users
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 2 years of IT support/deskside/desktop
- 2 years of PC Techsupport experience
- Imaging experience
- Thorough knowledge of computer systems and IT components
- "Break -- fix" /PC Tech experience
- CompTIA A+ certification highly desired
** Up to $25, rate is commensurate of experience. Must be able to pass a nationwide criminal background screen, DMV check, and 10 panel drug test**
